Software Developer - Sarasota, FL
As a mid-level .NET Software Engineer, you will be responsible for working within a shared service full stack engineering team to assist with all core PrismHR software applications that power our customer-facing businesses. You will be working within your team and interfacing with all internal product teams to gather requirements and translate those into technical specifications. As part of this high-performing team, you will work with your team lead to follow best practices for code management. Please note: This position can be remote/telecommute.

Responsibilities
- Understand the benefits of the various design methodologies and object-oriented environments.
- Seek and participate in development opportunities above and beyond the required training.
- Easily recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions through the use of strong problem-solving skills.
- Code superior technical solutions
- Create efficient and logical solution designs for clients.
- Write quality code that adhere to defined team coding standards.
- Design, development, integration, and deployment of web and mobile applications
- Continually improve reliability and scalability of the existing application
- Support QA Engineers to ensure system quality, functionality, and performance.
- Troubleshooting issues across all application tiers
- Scrum, Agile Process, Unit Testing & Test-Driven Development
- 3+ years experience in web-based software development
- Experience building modern web applications with ASP.NET MVC, C# and SQL Server
- Experience with the full stack of software development
- Proficient in Javascript, JQuery and HTML5/CSS
- Solid Object Oriented design and development skills
- Ability to work well within a group or individually on projects
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
