If so, we would love to talk with you.

At PrismHR, we're excited to grow and evolve our industry-leading ExecuPay platform to meet customer needs and win in the market. This begins with the continued expansion of our Shared Technology and Product Management team.

One area of growth is the Product Analyst function within the team, complementing Product Managers and Designers to ensure Engineering receives the right level of detail needed for successful execution. As a Product Analyst, you will effectively take on responsibilities that overlap traditional Business Analyst and Product Owner positions.

We view the Product Analyst role as critically important to building a better product and essential to powering our platform modernization efforts into the future.

AI is a standard part of how our product team works. We use it to draft user stories and PRDs, build prototypes, synthesize customer feedback, and conduct market research. AI accelerates drafting and analysis, while product judgment drives the final decisions.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A successful candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, working closely with a delivery team to ensure the "what" and "why" are clearly understood so the team can formulate the technical "how."

  • Primary function of the Product Analyst role is to support the Product Manager by providing product coverage and assisting with tactical activities related to the ExecuPay team.
  • Partner with Product Managers to develop User Stories to a "Ready for Development" state, using AI tools to draft stories and acceptance criteria while reviewing all output for accuracy before it reaches the team.
  • Use AI tools to help draft Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and specifications with the Product Manager.
  • Build rapid prototypes with AI tools to test concepts with customers and stakeholders before engineering resources are committed.
  • Partner with Product Managers and UX teams during discovery to capture requirements and translate business and customer needs into a prioritized product backlog (Epic → User Stories → Acceptance Criteria).
  • Use AI to synthesize client feedback, enhancement requests, support signals, and product usage data (Pendo or similar platforms) into themes that inform prioritization.
  • Support regular competitive and market analysis across the HCM landscape using AI-assisted research.
  • Partner with Product Managers on backlog health and maintenance, including consistent Jira metadata to ensure AI tools and reporting operate from accurate data.
  • Partner with Product Managers with research and validation of reported issues.
  • Partner with Product Managers and the development team by providing subject matter expertise related to Payroll and HR.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintain close coordination with Development and QA teams to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
  • Maintain close coordination with parallel Shared Technology delivery teams to drive cross-team collaboration, awareness, and communication of product overlap.
  • Partner with Product Managers and the Technical Documentation team to ensure product changes are clearly defined and communicated.
  • Serve as a liaison between product teams and Support/Professional Services teams to help triage issues and identify opportunities for product enhancements.
  • Provide support for other delivery teams within the Shared Technology department on special projects and business initiatives as needed.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2-4 years of Business Analyst, Product Management, or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of complex Payroll and HR concepts and the challenges faced by service bureaus and SMBs.
  • Previous experience working closely with Product Managers and UX Designers.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to connect across various domains, skills, and disciplines.
  • Strong balance of business acumen and technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly understand customer problems and identify practical solutions.
  • Experience working with HR platforms and core functionality, including:
    • Payroll
    • Human Resources
    • Benefits Administration
    • Time and Attendance
    • Compliance & Tax Management

  • Ability to read API documentation and JSON payloads; experience writing basic SQL queries is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience using Claude or similar AI tools to draft requirements, synthesize research, or build prototypes, combined with the judgment to identify and correct inaccurate output.

  • Ability to become a true product expert while remaining flexible and responsive to evolving business and team needs.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
