Lead Scrum Master
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master with strong project management expertise to join our Product Delivery organization. In this hybrid role, you will not only champion Agile practices across multiple teams but also manage complex software projects end‑to‑end. You will partner with stakeholders at all levels to deliver industry‑leading HR solutions aligned with PrismHR’s strategic goals.
The ideal candidate brings deep Agile experience, strong project leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to drive clarity, manage risks, and deliver high‑quality products on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Leadership & Team Facilitation
- Lead all Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Coach and guide 3+ Agile teams to collaborate effectively and deliver value in a fast‑paced environment.
- Facilitate discussions, remove impediments, and resolve conflicts to keep teams moving forward.
- Champion Agile principles and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Project Management & Delivery Execution
- Manage multiple simultaneous software projects, ensuring clear timelines, defined milestones, and alignment with business goals.
- Maintain and continually update sprint plans, release schedules, and delivery roadmaps.
- Use project management best practices to create structured plans, track progress, and manage scope.
- Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely escalations when needed.
- Drive all phases of product development to achieve high‑quality, on‑time delivery.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Capture Agile metrics and use data to assess team performance and support informed decision‑making.
- Partner with Product Delivery leadership to evaluate processes and recommend improvements.
- Promote efficiency, transparency, and predictability across teams and workflows.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master within a SaaS product development organization.
- Demonstrated project management experience leading software initiatives through completion.
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum/Kanban/SAFe frameworks.
- Experience working with highly remote or geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- High sense of urgency and willingness to provide follow‑up outside standard business hours when necessary.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience using Jira.
- Ability to work US time zones a must.
