Billing Specialist
Billing Specialist needed to provide Billing support to the PrismHR Technology Business Unit of Vensure Employer Services. This individual will report to the PrismHR, Inc. USA based Accounting Team. This position will focus primarily on Divisions with Software as a Service (SaaS) product offerings and the related Marketplace offerings. This position will be required complete the monthly customer billings for a portion of the SaaS contracts and the majority of the Marketplace Partner usage billing. As a result of new product utilization and acquisition the Technology Business Unit is growing rapidly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to work within a team structure to support the monthly customer and marketplace billing requirements.
- Individual will be responsible for manually billing approximately 100 monthly SaaS contracts and 20 Marketplace Partner usage-based billing to a customer of approximately 300 customers.
- Individual will need to be able to read customer contracts and understand the billing implications.
- Ability to correspond directly with customers to billing inquiries.
- Assist the Customer Success Managers with ad-hoc customer request for information.
- Assist Accounting Team projects on a as needed basis.
- Ability to take on new Billing responsibilities due to acquisitions, new product introductions. Etc…
- Ability to work with other internal stakeholders for instance the Revenue Cycle Administration team (“deal desk”) and professional services team (implementations).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills- both written and oral.
- Detail Oriented
- Focus on Deadlines
- Accountable and Responsible for tasks
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or any related field of study
- 3-5 years experience with CRM applications including Salesforce, and integrated Billing Systems including Sage Intacct.
- 3 years Software Industry experience
PrismHR is a fast-paced SaaS company which provides customers with a cloud-based payroll process software application. PrismHR also provides professional services including system implementation consulting, custom configurations, and training. Lastly, via the Company’s Marketplace platform customers and end users access other human resources and employee benefits applications from PrismHR’s Marketplace Partners.
